At Smartick, when we talk about a session, we’re referring to the daily activity that our students have to complete.

Our sessions have a net duration of 15 minutes of work. When the student starts the session, a clock starts to keep track of the 15 minutes required. If the student stops interacting with the platform for a predetermined amount of time, the clock stops. When the platform recognises that activity is resumed (a key is pressed or work is restarted), the clock starts again, counting the time remaining until the session length reaches 15 minutes.

In each session, our students work on the content available to them from their own personalised Study Plan, which allows them to learn at their own pace. You can read about the areas that they work on with Smartick, in our article: What does Smartick work on?
