At Smartick, when we talk about a session, we’re referring to the daily exercises our students have to complete.

Each Smartick session is approximately 15 minutes long. Depending on the difficulty level of the content, it can sometimes be a few minutes more or less.

When students begin a session, a clock starts to keep track of their connection time. If a student stops interacting with the platform for a predetermined amount of time or if a student uses a break, the clock stops. Similarly, when the platform recognizes that activity is resumed (a key is pressed or work is restarted), the clock restarts and continues counting the time remaining until the session ends.
