At Smartick, when we talk about a session, we’re referring to the daily 15-minute exercises our students complete.

Students know how long is left in the session thanks to different elements that appear on the screen. A clock keeps track of their connection time and if a student stops interacting with the platform for a predetermined amount of time or uses a break, the clock stops. There are three breaks available during each session and once the student starts working again, the clock restarts and continues with the remainder of the 15 minutes.

During each session, our students work on contents that are available in their personalized Study Plan, which they can learn at their own pace. There are different types of sessions:

  • Arithmetic and word problems

  • Logic

  • Coding

  • Review

The types of sessions alternate while the student progresses through the different areas of their Study Plan.
