I think my child is too young to do it alone

We have many young students on Smartick who, despite their age, are able to perform their sessions independently. We have age-appropriate exercises for them to work on and audio content available until Grade 2.

If your child receives external help, the information we collect will be biased, in terms of both the child's knowledge and the speed at which the child works. This can lead to quicker progression through the Smartick curriculum and increasing complexity of content, which the child may not be prepared for.

We advise parents to refrain helping their child, as well as to be more conscious of their body language and tone of voice, for these small things can still provide unintentional aid to the child.

If your child has been receiving your help and the exercises being proposed are now too difficult, please contact our Customer Care team so that we can make the necessary changes to your child's study plan.
